I had to find out what was making Ernie giggle like a little girl. You'll try hard not to smile:

I just got back from Huntington Beach for a fun girls weekend! Andrea and I drove out to visit our friend Carly, who was working as a model. She looked amazing and Andrea and I had a blast hanging out, getting some sun, and watching the U.S. Open Surfing Competition.
Carly and I played Beer Pong at a bar the first night. . . We couldn't believe that bars have beer pong there!
Views from our hotel room, at the Hilton Waterfront Resort!
Carly signing her Aerialite posters. She was a hit among the vendors!
Here we are watching the surfing competition. It was very crowded and the waves were pretty pathetic but it is always fun to be at the beach.
We got to go to a free wine tasting at the resort. Gnarly Head Wine. It was pretty good. And, they gave us temporary tatoos. . . funny!
Just some more fun pictures of the girls!
MLB Fanfest is underway at the Moscone Center. It's an interesting mix of commerce, memorabilia, museum-like dioramas & kiosks, autograph signings, truck displays, minor-league information, world-baseball information -- quite a collection of all things baseball:
Juan Marichel managed one of the two minor league all-star teams that played today (World v USA) -- he is a legend in San Francisco and seeing him back was fantastic:
There was a repeated grammatical error that was driving us crazy:
Looks like the Goodyear blimp will be here for the length of the All-Star festivities:
