I got to realize a childhood dream when I was able to take the field at AT&T Park and play first base & take batting practice (from both sides of the plate).   Thank you to SF-BIG, MySpace, and Adify for making it possible!

There's a statue of Barry's godfather outside of AT&T Park in San Francisco -- how long until we see one of Barry?

 

All-Star weekend was quite a show in San Francisco -- people really seemed to enjoy the park, the weather, and the events.

 

Derek Jeter and A-Rod clearly know how to play nice.    As you can see here, they play long-toss together, hang-out during practice together...

 

The game was actually a good one -- it came down to the last out (NL had bases-loaded with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth down a run).   Scott Sanford and I put another notch in our memorable slew of games that we've attended together...

Brett (hooded) hosted his parents who were watching their first Giants game (and we won, finishing a sweep of the Astros!):

 

Miles Sanford was able to put more food into his small body than I was:  hotdog, peanuts, cracker jacks, coca cola, and an ice cream sandwich!

 

The analysts are calling it "the greatest upset in the history of the NBA" -- an 8 seed knocking off not only a #1 seed, but a team that won 67 games in the regular season (the 6th best total in NBA history).   We watched the game from the concourse at AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants.

 

Golden State did their best to put away the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the 1st round -- we watched the game in the concourse of AT&T Park with hundreds of other Giants/Warriors fans.  I've never seen more people in the concourse watching a game on TV:
